Brushes used:

-1 M.A.C. #168
-1 M.A.C. #227
-1 M.A.C. #210
-1 M.A.C. #275
-2 M.A.C. #239

So I'm going to explain this in two ways...the way that's pictured and the more dramatic, theatrical with the optional products.

PICTURED
1. Start by applying Urban Decay Primer Potion all over all areas of the eye.  Let it set.
2. Apply the Smashbox liner ONYX all over areas 1 and 7.  Doesn't matter if it's neat or not, just cover them completely.  Blend the edges with a 217 so there's no sharp lines.
3. Apply BLACK MATTE with a 239 on top of ONYX in areas 1 and 7 to set. Move slightly into areas 2 and 8.  Blend with same 217.
3. Apply POISON PLUM with second 239 to area 2.  Make it kind of messy.  Use second 217 to blend up and out.
4. Apply MIDORI with third 217 to areas 5 and 8.  Blend down and out.
5. Apply AFTERPARTY to area 4 with 275.  Blend in little circles.
6. Apply POISON PLUM to cheekbones with 168.  Blend using circular motions along cheekbone.
7. Apply a mixture of PF 105 and TAKO with 227 to apple of cheek.  Smile if you can't find the apple.  It'll be the area just above the lines tapering down from your nose. ^_^
8. Using your finger, apply GOLDILUX just under area 8 and in area 3.  Connect the two areas just outside of area 6.

Now the eyeliner part can be a little tricky considering that you already have makeup on your cheeks so there's no room for error.  If you need to draw lines for your guide, use the Smashbox liner.  You can design the lines going down any way you want, just make sure that they're even on each side. (Well, as even as possible!)

9. Using a 210, apply NYC liner in JET BLACK (or you can use a creme liner if preferable) to draw the downward lines on face.  Draw the outline first, then fill.
10. Apply #43s to top lash line.
11. Apply RED liner to a doll-like shape.  Full lower lip, bee-sting shaped upper lip.
12. Apply LADY BUG lipstick.  If you want to use a brush you can.  I use a 316 from M.A.C.  It's not necessary though.

You're finished!  If you need to make any touch-ups (like blending the green or black down the "tears", then do so.

NOT PICTURED:
The only steps you'd need to take would be BEFORE the whole makeup above.
1. Cover brows with Elmer's Glue.  Depending on thickness of brows, multiple coats may be necessary.
2. Apply white face makeup (or light foundation) to entire face.  A line of demarcation is actually required in this sense, since it's supposed to appear as though you're wearing a mask.  Set with Illamasqua PF 105.

Introduction

I figured I'd take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is AJ.  I've been practicing makeup (professionally) for 4 years.  I am 22 years old.  I believe that makeup should make a statement.  According to current views of makeup, we should use it to cover our flaws and emphasize our natural beauty.  BORING.  Makeup should be used to create the person you want to be as opposed to the person you are.  If you want to be a naughty temptress, wear makeup to accentuate that!  If you want to look like you just got in a car accident, rock it.  Makeup should be fun, it should be exciting, it should emphasize your personality in addition to covering our flaws.

Now I'm going to use numbers referring to a certain location on the eyelid just to make things easier for me.
Area 1: the entire eyelid
Area 2: the rear of the socket part of the eyelid (the crease)
Area 3: brow bone
Area 4: the front part of the crease
Area 5: inner corner of the eye
Area 6: outer corner of the eye
Area 7: lower lash area
Area 8: lower eyelid

Hope this helps and I look forward to showing you my makeup creations!
